Privacy Policy
What this site collects, why, and how to say no.
Who runs this site
yataimaster.com is the website of Yatai Master, a game by oh! (Henry Tejera), from Uruguay. For anything about your data, write to hi@oht.lol.
The site has no accounts, no forms, no comments and no ads. It doesn't sell or share your data with anyone to market to you.
Google Analytics, only if you accept
To know how many people visit and which pages they read, the site can use Google Analytics 4, a service from Google. It only loads after you click Accept in the cookie notice. If you decline, or never answer, it doesn't load at all.
When you accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_GRRR52184L, that last up to two years, and records:
- the pages you visit, the site that sent you here and campaign tags in the address;
- your approximate location (country and city), language, device, operating system, browser and screen size;
- what you do on the page: scrolling, clicks on links to other sites, video plays and file downloads.
Google Analytics 4 doesn't log or store IP addresses. This property keeps event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, and every option to share data with Google for other purposes is turned off. Google processes this data on behalf of this site; its handling is described in Google's Privacy Policy and in how Google Analytics safeguards data.
You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page. Declining removes the Google Analytics cookies this site set. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, the site treats it as a no and doesn't ask.
A simple visit counter, without cookies
The site also counts page views with GoatCounter, an open-source counter that uses no cookies and doesn't store IP addresses. It receives the page address, the site that sent you and your browser type, and only keeps totals.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. The fonts, images and videos are hosted on this site, not loaded from other services.
The Steam widget
The Steam store box on the home page and at the end of each devlog entry is loaded from store.steampowered.com, run by Valve. Valve may set its own cookies there; Valve's Privacy Policy applies. The same goes for the sites you reach through the links to Steam, itch.io, IndieDB, Bluesky, Mastodon and X.
If you write to hi@oht.lol, your message and address are kept only to answer you.
Your rights
Under Uruguay's personal data protection law (Law 18.331) and, if you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. Write to hi@oht.lol. You can also complain to Uruguay's data protection authority, the URCDP, or to the authority where you live.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date.
